milk glass

Usually, I am all about playing with lots of juicy colors and quoting forms from nature. So it is a bit out of left field that I have been thinking about making a set of beads inspired by milk glass.

I have a large bundle of anice white glass rods, they're a little bit touchy to work with, but their whiteness has the faintest touch of cool green to it. I think it would make a splendid monochromatic set of beads. I am thinking lots of hobnails, ruffled edges, piercing and finial like shapes - typical milk glass motifs.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE milk glass. Yep, it's true. My sister Cynthia and I collect it.

I did not know that - I knew about your owls. I collect little tiny statues of the Eiffel tower and antique hotel lobby bells. I have torch time scheduled tomorrow, now I have to start my milk glass beads.
