Springtime Flametime

Put everything away and pulled a whole mess of new rods to get spring-y with.

That little short lavender end piece in the middle is Cim's 'Crocus.'
The most beautiful glass color in the world.

Big Babies

Some really big capped and cored beads.

The cored holes are the standard big hole bead size.
The caps were cut from a vintage silver plated tray with a disc cutter and then domed.

I'm using a graphite marver from Divardi Glass to help shape the beads, it's called a 'three slot disk shaper.'

Hippie Chick no.5

I can't stop making these.
Whenever I have enough stray beads I chain one together.

Test beads, earring pairs that don't quite match up, end of the day beads...
they all go into a dish and eventually end up in one of these necklaces.

Easy peasy, there's no clasp, simple rosary style chain links made with 18g bronze.

Ball Chain Gang

Capped and cored big hole beads on ball chain.

I could be the worst letter stamper on the planet - and I don't care.

The Bangles

A heaping helping of new leather and glass bead bangles.

Including some with huge glass beads.
That's something new.

I've got some new fruity leather colors for spring.

Only one bead is stationary on the bracelet, the rest move around on the cord so that you can fidget with them.

This one has two colors of leather, gotta use up those leftover bits of leather.
It also has a nice vintage donut spacer that I salvaged from a garage sale necklace.
