after months of waiting my milkweed pods have finally cracked open

I love these pics! When I was scrolling down, the first pic looked like the tip of a unicorn horn, until I could see the rest of the pic, that is what I thought first. they look so soft, I wonder if they could be used for felting...or sandwiching between silks. they'd probably make you itch.
