i finally got the raku frit to work. turns out i wasn't supposed to be reducing it, just touching it to cold metal (brass) when it cooled to dark cherry red.
the classic combo - black, dark ivory and raku.

those are absolutely gorgeous.
i make some beaded jewellery but im not very good. i would love to learn how to actually make the beads.
