Many Moons

The simplest of necklaces made with the simplest of beads.

Thirty-nine light ivory glass "full moon" beads, each one decorated with only a tiny piece of fine silver foil.
All strung together on hammered coiled links of sterling silver.

The hardest part was staying focused at the torch long enough to make all those matching full moons.
I have so many ideas for necklaces in this same style, I think I am going to need a lot more 1/16th" mandrels.

You know that the best place to get mandrels is your local welding store. Get 1/16" stainless steel welding rods and cut them down to size--making sure not to get the sparks on you because they ITCH.
