(not my) Home Sweet Home

I have no idea who lives here - but they clearly adore their house.

We were driving around on the north side of Rochester, near the lake, and wham - there it was.
Glittering in the sunshine, a jaw-dropping display of ornament and folly, begging the question - who lives here? A group of children without adult supervision, a crazy person, a performance artist?

The only thing we know for sure is they're not vegetarians.

Imagine, with me, what the inside of the house might look like.

What would it be like to say yes to every overly decorative impulse you ever have, to give no fucks about your neighbors and passers by? I mean it screams look at me, but the road cones and signs say stay out. I am both deeply attracted and scared to death of the place.

It almost looks like one of those find the differences photo games, I kept scrolling down to find the matching photo…

You weren't by any chance on Anchor Terrace, off of Rock Beach Rd right where it intersects at St. Paul Blvd, were you? :) That house looks like one on my grandma's street.

Oh my, gaudy without being tasteful. Have to admit, it's creative!

Yes Christine, it was just off Rock Beach Road, somewhere in Summerville.

I thought so....I swear that's down the street from my grandma's place. Hilarious! Summerville has always been interesting to me -- the architecture and the way people live in those houses. :)
