Wild Strawberries

I had an idea, to make tiny wild strawberry charms in all sorts of fun glass and frit colors.
Each one would have a little brightly colored metal bead cap hand cut from a vintage tin.

Above is the first batch of berries, still on their mandrels, fresh out of the kiln.
Below are all the berries cleaned next to a pile of tin disks ready to be domed.

Don't even ask how many funky old tins I have kicking around, some are cut into sheets of metal and the rest are piled into a big storage box in my studio.

Here they are!
All dressed up with their domed bead caps and little bronze bails.
