Weed Seeds

Inspired by endlessly picking burrs and seeds out of poodle fur.
It's weed seed season here.

Eventually these glass 'seed' beads, and more, will be a necklace all wired together with bronze.

Colors used? So far - copper green, coral, dark silver plum, light silver plum, lichen light and some 104 raku stringer.

Embroidery - Slow and Sweet

Spending some quality needletime with the crow quilt.

Absolutely not what I should be working on.

Sometimes you just need to slouch down your comfy chair and do the thing you want and not the thing you need to get done.

Faux Turquoise Glass Beads

A strand of faux turquoise glass beads.

Made with a big pile of mixed turquoise shorts and Cim's Celedon frit and Val Cox Seafoam fine frit.

Sooner, or later, I'll hammer links and work it into a necklace.

Shake Your Tail Feathers

I finished a really large painting today, a painting of chickens in a garden.

I learned I like painting chicken butts.

Is it sold?
I think so.

Look at this little feather fanny.
