Nuggets of Joy

New big, chunky beads for a charm bracelet.

Started with a black barrel core then added on a little square of silvery dichro.
Heavily encased with clear, transparent teal and transparent grass green.
Finally shaped into faceted nuggets using my trusty stainless steel cheese knife.

I had forgotten how much I like forming the facets on this style of bead.
All the dichro and the divots give them so much sparkle.

Make More Birds

Good thing I still love making these little glass birds.

I attach the bails with 2-part epoxy.

A bird in the hand is worth... $18.

Rootbeer Barrels

These remind me of that old hard candy - rootbeer barrels.

Effetre 'Topaz" and Cim's 'Maple' glass rolled in Val Cox 'Iris Gold' frit and reduced lightly.

Beads, in graduated sizes, all linked together with 18g bronze wire.

Mushroom Lovers

A couple of new necklaces.

Time for something fun.

My lampwork glass mushroom pendants strung up with vintage, scavenged chains, brightly colored jump rings and random charms.

New Earrings!

Coming out of my post-holiday makers hangover.
